The German government has defined lead markets for the High-Tech Strategy 2020. With its beacons of technology Mobility and Heath, the cluster is addressing two of these lead markets and thereby improving its international visibility.

The cross-functional platforms help medium-sized firms and start-ups to develop intelligent microsystem solutions and introduce them into the market with an eye to cost effectiveness. New beacons of technology may also arise in additional lead markets.

For the further strategic development of the cluster and the sustainable assurance of Baden-Württemberg’s international competitiveness, the cluster management has organized and coordinated complementary measures.
