ECOSENSE Conference 2025

The Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) ECOSENSE at the University of Freiburg invites environmental scientists and engineers to the international ECOSENSE Conference 2025, taking place from 29 September to 1 October 2025 in Freiburg, Germany.

The conference will focus on smart autonomous sensor networks for monitoring carbon, water, and VOC fluxes in ecosystems. Building on the interdisciplinary ECOSENSE project, the event offers a platform to exchange ideas and present research on:

• Innovative sensing technologies and sensor networks
• Ecosystem stress detection and high-resolution monitoring
• Multiscale modelling and data integration
• Soil–plant–atmosphere interactions
