The 12th International Summit on Organic and Hybrid Photovoltaics Stability (ISOS) is one of the most influential conference series in the field of solar cell durability.
This year, the ISOS will take place at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, from 7th Oct to 9th Oct 2019.
Organic and hybrid photovoltaics (e.g. perovskites) have the potential for lower cost solar electricity as well as numerous new applications, where low weight, flexibility, different forms and colors would be an advantage. Currently the main bottleneck for commercialization is durability.
The International Summit on Organic and Hybrid Photovoltaics Stability (ISOS) has been running since 2008 and has become one of the most attended workshops in the field, bringing together an expert community from both industry and academia.
Following the previous successful meetings, this year’s ISOS will cover all aspects of OPV and perovskite stability from degradation mechanisms to stable device architectures. Strong focus will be on industrial requirements and how the research community can meet these. The program includes invited and contributed talks as well as round table discussions with academic and industrial researchers.
Previous meetings venues: Colorado (USA) 2008, Amsterdam (The Netherlands) 2009, Roskilde (Denmark) 2010, Colorado (USA) 2011, Eindhoven (The Netherlands) 2012, Chambery (France) 2013, Barcelona (Spain) 2014, Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) 2015, Freiburg (Germany) 2016, MCAST (Malta) 2017 and Suzhou (China) 2018.
